Perhaps the largest of all the Dendrochilums this elegant plant has leaves that resemble an Aspidistra, but is not quite as tall.
At flowering time we get thin, wiry, upright stems pushing up. These stems then bend over at the top and grow downwards. Thus we get the scores of small, yellow flowers hanging down in chains.
An excellent plant for scent. Some claim that the scent resembles Lily-Of-The-Valley.
Intermediate to warm temperatures and fairly good light suit this one.
Strong, near flowering size plants in 4" (10cm) pots
