Encyclia vitellina is a beautiful and very popular species in spite of it being a little difficult to grow and flower. Crossing it with the warmer growing Epidendrum michuacana makes it a more tolerant plant that will perform much better.
Upright spikes of long lasting flowers on small, attractive plants with grey/green leaves.
Cool to intermediate temperatures and moderate to bright light (No sun.) would seem to be about right. Make sure the growing media dries between each watering.
