Mini-Disks Chopped Coconut Husk x 3

Mini-Disks Chopped Coconut Husk x 3
I have every confidence in this material, using it for all my orchid potting requirements and even mixing it with conventional composts when potting conventional plants and sowing seeds. It really does help to control root rots that are the death of many orchid plants.
It's clean, easy to use, resists rotting, has a neutral to slightly acid pH, holds nutrients well and has a low electric conductivity (<0.7 ms/cm). My confidence in it is now being backed up by the number of repeat orders I am getting, plus the good things people are saying about it at various shows and events.

This is an excellent and reliable substitute for orchid bark

The most economical way to buy is in the compressed mini bales, as it is supplied to me. These bales are highly compressed, measuring approximately 12" x 12" x 6" and weigh a minimum of 4.50 kg. (About 10 lb.). When fully expanded they have a volume of about 50ltr. (About 10 gallons).
The easiest and quickest way to decompress the husk is to wet it, either the whole bale or by breaking pieces off and soaking them separately.

(Sorry, due to high shipping costs this product is only available in the UK.)

Supplied as a compressed mini-disk. These disks are about 14cm. (5") in diameter, 3-4cm. (1" - 2") thick and weigh a minimum of 350 grams. and expand to about 3.5 liters.
